I just had an accident with my 2008 Dodge Caliber. Amazingly even though the car rolled once- nobody was hurt- so thankful!I am now looking to replace my car- I have no idea how much I will be getting from the insurance company for my car- but I would like a car with a high safety rating, fuel efficient, easy to get kids in and out of- any suggestions?
I think most cars are pretty safe. Since you have kids don't get the tiny cars. Stick with the compact segment. If you can afford to splurge a little get a mid-size like the fusion, camry or accord. When I have kids I hope to get a Scion Xb, main reason is that CRV are expensive and I like something just as roomy. I plan to stay below the 20k level.Best of luck to you.
